We offer the children settling in sessions before they start at the nursery to meet the team and get the child used to being in the setting without their family present and overall, the children are settling very well.
We endeavour to publish images of the children on their Famly account so the parents can see what they have been engaging in and how they have settled.
Time is taken to find out about the child’s likes, dislikes, interests, and family life in our ‘All About Me’ Form.
Your child is also assigned a key person. The key person is there to support and build relationships with the child and their families and help with the child’s development.

This all helps the staff team to provide care for children to get a better picture of the child and their family. Staff can gain information to inform their planning from observing a child where he or she feels settled and in control.
Once your child starts at Little Gardners Outdoor Nursery your child will be assigned a designated key person who will guide the child through their time at Nursery. This helps build a relationship with your child and their families. Your child/children will also have a buddy key person assigned to them who takes over in the absence of the key person, to ensure your child’s care and development needs are always met.
